I am no longer co-editing Gone Lawn, but I am still an avid reader of those literary gems and diamonds unearthed by founding editor Owen Kaelin and his new co-editor Rory Fleming.

The recently released issue # 17 is fantastic: there are some startling and original pieces in this mix! I will name one of my favorites to start you off and then leave you to search for more such treasures … Shrinkology by Sea Sharp. There is an audio player at the bottom of the page. You absolutely have to play it while you read the story. The author’s performance is perfectly rendered. And the language and flights of fancy in the story itself are hilarious and gorgeous. I doff my cap to a true winner in the Game of Lit.
